इस बार बिहार में पेपर लीक जैसी घटनाओं के बढ़ने के कारण ही Bihar Stet के परिक्षा केंद्रों की संख्या बढ़ाई जा रही है और परिक्षा केंद्रों की दूरी भी बढ़ रही है तो बिहार एसटीईटी परीक्षा में पेपर लीक ना हो इसके लिए कई नियम भी लागू किए जा रहे है और इस बार परीक्षा में प्रश्नों का भी लेवल कठिन किया जा रहा है और कई बड़े परिवर्तन भी आपको इस बार कि Bihar Stet परिक्षा में देखने को मिल सकते है।
Bihar School Service Commission (BSSC) has made some important changes in Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET). These changes will be effective from the 2023-24 session.
Bihar STET Exam Pattern:
The exam will now be held in two phases: in the first phase, candidates will have to appear for General Knowledge and Pedagogy paper, while in the second phase, they will have to appear for a subject paper of their choice. The first stage (General Knowledge and Pedagogy) examination will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages. The second stage (subject) examination will be conducted in Hindi language only.
Bihar STET Exam Duration
The first stage exam will be of 2 hours, while the second stage exam will be of 1.5 hours. 150 marks have been prescribed for the first stage examination, while 100 marks have been prescribed for the second stage examination. Now General and SC/ST candidates will have to pay ₹1200 and ₹600 respectively as application fee. Now it is mandatory for the candidates to be graduate from any recognized university to apply. The maximum age limit for General and SC/ST candidates has been fixed at 35 and 40 years respectively.
Impact of these changes:
These changes may make it more difficult for candidates to pass the exam. It will be mandatory to pass General Knowledge and Pedagogy paper in the first stage, irrespective of which subject the candidate chooses. Changing the medium of examination may cause problems to those candidates who are comfortable only in Hindi language.
