Ctet Exam 2024 Latest News
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is required to become a teacher at the primary level (classes 1 to 5) and upper primary level (classes 6 to 8) in government and government-aided schools in India. Some important changes have been made in this examination in July 2024.
Ctet Exam Mode:
The first major change is that the exam will now be online. Earlier, CTET exam was conducted in offline mode, but now it will be completely online. This means that candidates will have to take the exam on computer.
Ctet Exam Pattern:
The duration of the examination has been increased. The time of each paper has been increased from 150 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes. The number of questions has increased. The number of questions in each paper has been increased from 150 to 200. Now there will be no negative marking. Earlier, there was negative marking for wrong answers, but now the negative marking system has been abolished.
Ctet important changes:
CTET exam fee has been increased. Some changes have also been made in the process of applying for CTET exam. How these changes will impact candidates is not yet clear.
