Ctet Exam New Rules 2024
CBSE has announced new rules for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to be held in July 2024. The application process for this examination has been completed and now the candidates are busy preparing for the examination.
No negative marking:
Negative marking system has been removed in CTET July 2024 exam. With this, marks will no longer be deducted for wrong answers. It is beneficial for the candidates who want to score good marks even in slightly weaker subjects.
Pattern of Examination:
The format of CTET exam will be in two papers. The first paper will be based on child development and pedagogy, while the second paper will be based on language and teaching methods. Each paper will be of 150 marks and candidates will be given 2.5 hours for each paper.
Language Options:
Now candidates in CTET exam will have the option to appear in two languages. Earlier, candidates had to choose only one language among Hindi and English. This change is beneficial for those candidates who want to appear for the exam in their mother tongue or regional language.
Application fee:
The application fee for CTET exam has increased. Now, unreserved candidates will have to pay Rs 1,000 and reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 500 as application fee. There has been no change in the eligibility criteria for CTET exam. Candidates should have passed 12th and have Diploma in Teaching or B.Ed degree.
Ctet Admit Card 2024
The new rules for CTET July 2024 exam have provided some relief to the candidates. Removing the negative marking system and the option to take the exam in two languages will help the candidates perform better. However, the increase in application fee may become a burden for some candidates. Therefore, candidates are advised to make a solid strategy for exam preparation by reading the new rules carefully.
