CTET Exam 2025 Apply Online

CTET i.e. Central Teacher Eligibility Test, is an important exam, which is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This exam is for those candidates who are willing to become teachers in government schools.

Talking about the application fee, ₹ 1000 is fixed for the general category and ₹ 500 for the reserved category. There are two papers in the CTET exam – Paper 1 (Primary School Teacher) and Paper 2 (Upper Primary School Teacher). Both papers have a total of 150 questions, and each question is of 1 mark.

CTET Exam Eligibility Criteria

The application process for CTET exam is completely online. Candidates have to fill the application form by visiting the official website of CBSE. In the application form, candidates have to fill all the necessary information and also upload their photo and signature.

Paper 1: If you want to become a teacher in primary school (classes 1 to 5), you must have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks and a B.Ed. or D.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
Paper 2: To become a teacher in upper primary school (classes 6 to 8), the candidate must have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks and a B.Ed. or B.Ed. (Special Education) or D.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
