The Ministry of Women and Child Development has invited applications for the recruitment of more than 53,000 posts of Anganwadi Worker and Assistant in Uttar Pradesh. This is a great opportunity for those women who want to contribute to the development of children by working in Anganwadi. Applicants can apply on the official website through online mode. Delhi Anganwadi Vacancy Eligibility:

For the post of Anganwadi Worker: It is mandatory for the applicant to be 10th pass and knowledge of reading and writing in Hindi language is required. For the post of Assistant: It is mandatory for the applicant to be 8th pass and knowledge of reading and writing in Hindi language is required.

Delhi Anganwadi Vacancy Age Limit:

For the post of Anganwadi Worker: The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 45 years. For the post of Assistant: The age of the applicant should be between 17 to 40 years. Candidates will be selected through written test and interview.

In line with the changes made under the new education policy, some important changes have also been made in the Anganwadi recruitment process. The aim of these changes is to strengthen Anganwadi programs and provide better education to children.

Let’s know about these changes:

1. Educational Qualification:

• It is now mandatory to be 12th pass for the post of Anganwadi worker. Earlier it was enough to be 10th pass.
• It is also mandatory to be 10th pass for the post of Anganwadi assistant.

2. Age Limit:

• The maximum age limit for the post of Anganwadi worker has been increased to 35 years. Earlier it was 45 years.
• The maximum age limit for the post of Anganwadi assistant has been increased to 30 years. Earlier it was 35 years.
