UPTET (Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) is a major examination for candidates who wish to become teachers in Uttar Pradesh. UPTET Application Process
The application process for UPTET is completely online. Interested candidates have to visit the official website and follow the prescribed instructions. Following are the steps of the application process:
- Registration: First of all, the candidate has to visit the website and create a new account, in which information like name, date of birth, email id, and mobile number has to be entered.
- Filling the application form: After registration, the candidate has to fill the application form with personal information, educational qualification, and experience (if any).
- Uploading photo and signature: After this, the candidate has to upload his passport size photo and signature in the specified format.
- Fee Payment: After submitting the application form, the candidate has to pay the application fee through online mode.
- Print Out of Application Form: After finishing the application process, the candidate must take a print out of the application form and keep it safe for future reference.
Documents Required for UPTET Application
Candidates need to keep the following documents ready for UPTET application:
- 10th and 12th mark sheets
- Graduation and post graduation degree
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
- Identity proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport etc.)
UPTET Exam Pattern
The UPTET exam is conducted in two parts:
- Paper I (for primary level)
- Paper II (for upper primary level)
Each paper consists of 150 questions, and the exam time is 150 minutes. It includes subjects like Child Development and Teaching Methodology, Languages (Hindi and English), Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. The questions are objective type and one mark is given for each correct answer.
